Sabrina Kuchta

Sabrina has been playing softball since the age of 8, and has continued her career to the collegiate level. She was a four year varsity player at Hinsdale South, and received the Western Suburban Conference award three times. Sabrina originally played on the New Jersey Cheetahs for her last two years of travel softball, and traveled the country to play the best teams. After her junior year of high school, she received a scholarship to play softball at DePaul University. Even after tearing her ACL and meniscus senior year, she showed dedication and hear for the game and found her starting spot as a catcher at DePaul freshman year, as well as making the All-conference freshmen team. The following year, she finally found her home in the infield and became the starting second baseman. That year, DePaul then won the Big East Conference and made it to the conference tournament. Following that year, sabrina was faced again with an obstacle after tearing her meniscus once again. She showed her dedication to be able to come back and finish out the rest of the year, and the blue demons not only were Big East Tournament Champions, but they also made it to the regional tournament for the first time 3 years. Sabrina not only shows her love for the game, but also puts her heart and soul into any aspect of softball. Sabrina believes in being a team, and everyone plays a role no matter what their position is.
